In 1935 shopkeeper Thomas Hamar established a museum in Clun’s historic Town Hall to display a collection of flints and to manage two Elizabethan Maces and a Seal of the former Borough. Today, the museum also encompasses a collection reflecting rural life and the self-sufficiency of Clun including exhibits from both world wars.
